Terms and Conditions

1. Who we are

These terms apply to every purchase from the liebeling webshop.

2. The pieces

We sell pre-owned vintage items. Each listing is a single, unique piece. We describe the condition, measurements and any signs of wear as accurately as we can and photograph the actual item. Small signs of age that are described or visible in the photos are part of the piece and are not a defect. Colours can look slightly different on different screens.

3. Prices

Prices are in euros and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs are shown separately in your bag and at checkout before you pay; see Shipping & Returns. Obvious pricing errors do not bind us; if one occurs we will let you know and refund any payment.

4. Ordering and the contract

When you start checkout, the pieces in your bag are reserved for you for 30 minutes. The contract is formed when your payment is successfully completed; you then receive an order confirmation by email. If payment fails, is cancelled or the reservation expires, the pieces are released and no contract is formed. In the rare case a payment arrives after a piece has been sold to someone else, we refund you in full.

5. Payment

Payments are processed by Mollie. You pay in full at checkout using one of the payment methods offered there.

6. Delivery

We deliver to addresses in the Netherlands and the rest of the European Union. We aim to dispatch within two working days of payment and in every case deliver within 30 days. The risk of loss or damage passes to you when the parcel is delivered to you. If a delivery is delayed beyond 30 days you may cancel the order and receive a full refund.

7. Right of withdrawal

As a consumer you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason (Dutch Civil Code, Book 6, art. 230o). You pay the cost of returning the goods. Items must be returned unworn and in the condition you received them; you are liable for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is needed to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. We refund the purchase price and the original standard shipping costs within 14 days of your withdrawal. The full procedure and a model withdrawal form are on the Shipping & Returns page.

8. Conformity and warranty

You are entitled to a piece that matches its description and is fit for normal use, taking into account that it is vintage, its age and its price (statutory conformity, Dutch Civil Code, Book 7, art. 17). If it doesn’t, let us know within a reasonable time after you discover the issue and we will repair, replace (where possible) or refund it. Your statutory rights are never limited by these terms.

9. Complaints

Complaints are welcome — tell us through the contact form. We reply within 14 days. If we can’t resolve it together, you may take the dispute to the competent court.

10. Privacy

We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Applicable law

Dutch law applies to these terms and every purchase. If you live in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence.
