FAQ
The questions we hear most often.
Is every piece really one of a kind?
Yes. Each listing is a single physical item. Once it is sold it is gone — we never restock the same piece.
How do you describe condition?
Every product page lists the condition and any visible signs of wear, such as a worn insole, light scuffs or a soft crease in the leather. Photos are taken in daylight and show the actual piece.
How do sizes work?
Shoes are listed in EU sizes as marked inside the shoe. Vintage sizing can run differently from today, so we add fit notes and measurements like heel height in the details. If you are unsure, send us a message before you order.
Someone else has a piece in their bag — can I still buy it?
When someone starts checkout, the piece is reserved for them for 30 minutes. If they do not complete payment it becomes available again automatically, so check back shortly.
Where do you ship and what does it cost?
We ship to the Netherlands (€6.95) and the rest of the EU (€14.95), one flat rate per order. Read more on Shipping & Returns.
Can I return a piece?
Yes. You have 14 days from receiving your order to withdraw, without giving a reason. Return shipping is paid by you and pieces must be returned unworn, in the condition you received them. See Shipping & Returns for the steps.
How can I pay?
Payments are handled securely by Mollie. You can pay with the common methods offered at checkout, such as iDEAL and credit or debit card. We never see or store your card details.
Do I need an account to order?
No. You can check out as a guest. With an account you can see your order history and keep your saved pieces in your archive across devices.
What is “your archive”?
Your archive is where the pieces you heart are kept, together with your orders when you are signed in. Hearts you add as a guest are saved on your device and move into your account when you sign in.
How should I care for vintage shoes?
Store them stuffed with paper, away from direct sunlight and heat, and in a dust bag if you have one. Leather appreciates a neutral conditioner now and then; satin and suede are best taken to a cobbler for cleaning.
